An 8th degree Black Belt, Grandmaster William Kim is both a National and World Tae Kwon Do Champion. He is an inductee to the United States Taekwondo Hall of Fame and is currently the President of the Northern California Taekwondo Association.

A native of South Korea, he began Tae Kwon Do at age 6. Since migrating to California in 1980, Grandmaster Kim has firmly established himself as one of the top Martial Arts Masters in the world. Grandmaster Kim's philosophy is to not only develop physically strong students, but, more importantly, students that are mentally strong.

Grandmaster Kim has been influenced by many famous Masters in Korea and worldwide. However, the single greatest influence on his development will always be his father, Grandmaster Hae Yong Kim. Grandmaster Kim is very open minded and has freely adopted Hapkido and Kickboxing and incorporated the two martial arts with Tae Kwon Do to create the effective and respected William Kim System. This system has given his students a tremendous advantage both in competition and in self-defense situations.  Grandmaster Kim has developed effective training methods that helped produce National Champions, International Champions as well as Professional Kick Boxing World Champions.  Most important goal in Grandmaster Kim's life is to develop Champions in life!
